Pop goes SHOUT!PR
The latest Mansfield Museum exhibition POP Goes Mansfield was launched with a live acoustic set by the legendary Alvin Stardust on 1st August, and all wrapped up in SHOUT!PR branding for the Summer-long exhibition.
On display at this fascinating exhibition are memories and memorabilia themed around Mansfield’s music scene - past and present. Alvin’s foot-high platforms, stage outfits, photographs, (including exclusive pictures of the original Shane Fenton, before Alvin took on his stage name!), local band posters and promotional photographs – even Mansfield’s Mayor Tony Egginton features as drummer of local 60’s band The Management.
SHOUT!PR enjoys a good relationship with the Mansfield Museum team, and produced the Pop Goes Mansfield logo template for the team to use on all related promotions. In addition to ad hoc promotions the Shout team produces a regular newsletter for the museum which is mailed out to its many regular visitors and supporters.
We were asked by Jodie, Museum Development Officer at Mansfield Museum, to list our top ten songs as part of the Museum’s latest exhibition. Click here to visit our blog and see our lists.
