A Welcome Publication
for Thorneywood

It is hoped that young people admitted to Thorneywood – Nottinghamshire’s adolescent mental health unit – will be made to feel that bit more comfortable and confident about their stay and their treatment, thanks to the publication of a brand new brochure designed by SHOUT!PR for Nottinghamshire NHS Healthcare Trust.

The lively 28 page booklet provides youngsters, and their families, with answers to a multitude of questions about the unit, the process of getting them better and their rights - and contains snippets of very positive feedback from other young people who have been through the same things.

“It is always a joy to work on a project like this,” said Sarah at SHOUT! “We know that the Thorneywood team genuinely wanted to produce a document to help their clients feel more relaxed about their stay and treatment. Between us we’ve come up with something extremely positive and informative that will be of some comfort to young people going through difficult times.”
