New council comms role

Ashfield District Council is the latest local authority to call on SHOUT!PR’s extensive public sector experience to help it through a period of exceptional demand on its communications team.

The Kirkby-in-Ashfield council is in the process of expanding its Comms Team and is delivering a number of important projects in the final weeks of the year. SHOUT!PR has been engaged to work with Comms Manager, Carys Turner-Jones, and is spending two days a week within the department.

SHOUTPR’s main focus is on identifying and delivering news-worthy material throughout the Council, and liaising with media.

Commented PR Directory, Jeremy Hall: “We are delighted to be back at Ashfield District Council who we first worked with around 18 years ago! There is a huge amount of good news being generated by the Council and it’s great to be playing a part in making sure local people hear of all the positive initiatives that are benefitting the community.

“This type of work is right up our street - because of our lengthy public sector experience we can be very quickly up to speed in any communications environment and delivering real value almost immediately.”
