Our Invitation to the Palace

SHOUT!PRs design team has just finished the Mansfield Palace Theatre logo refresh, ready for its centenary year celebrations in 2010.

Several options were put forward, with the Palace team opting for a range of 3 final logos to take them through the centenary year and beyond.

“Our brief was to retain the parts of the logo that created instant recognition - the ‘impact’ of the typeface, basic ‘block’ structure and the use of ascender and descender and colour - but to change the way it read,” explains Sarah. “In addition we needed to accommodate additional wording in recognition of the centenary. This was not easy as space did restrict us, but we managed to present several options worthy of such a thriving and renowned theatre.”

The new logo will appear in next year’s brochure, and rolled out over the coming weeks.
