Media Launch of Breyer UK

Objectives
To profile the hugely popular USA based Breyer as leading manufacturer of the world’s most popular model horses, here in the UK. 

Strategy
Optimise launch-based editorial opportunities within equestrian and retail media, before commencing a targeted programme of consumer and retailer based advertising and PR.

Execution
One of Breyer's traditional range model horses was packaged in a straw-lined ‘pet carry-style’ box (complete with air holes and sugar lumps!), labelled ‘HORSE IN TRANSIT’ and delivered to named journalists at 30 of our target media. 

Dialogue was open, and SHOUT!PR continued to work with Breyer to identify appealing editorial – such as the launch of a brand new model of an equine-hero ‘Milton’ – ensuring that our target media remained engaged and supportive.

Evaluation
The introduction of Breyer to the UK was welcomed by Editors, as there had previously been a considerable interest in its products which are hugely popular stateside.

Our appealing ‘pet horse’ mailing received 100% recall, with many titles publishing our news release, product shots and requesting more information. Our unique approach and continued efforts to assist feature writers has led to the development of excellent relationships with key publications. 

The UK media launch was hailed an outstanding success by the Breyer marketing team based back in New Jersey, USA.
